Audition Materials
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Audition Information and Materials.
We’re excited to have sent out the audition packs for our Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Auditions. All members of BBW, new and returning, are welcome to audition for principal roles in our upcoming show. Please carefully read the ‘Audition Information Pack’ attachment to find out more about how our audition process works and age recommendations for the different roles.
The audition weekend is very hectic, with varying timings, which will all be confirmed nearer the time and/or when call backs are issued. This could mean lots of coming and going for our members, depending on what roles they wish to audition for and any call backs required.
The Auditions Weekend will look something like this:
- Singing Auditions – evening of Friday 29th August, potentially in Morary Primary School, Grangemouth. Location & Timings TBC.
- Acting & Dance auditions – morning/afternoon of Saturday 30th August, in the North Broomage Social Club, Larbert. Timings TBC.
- Final callbacks – morning/afternoon of Sunday 31st August, in the North Broomage Social Club, Larbert. Timings TBC.
- Full cast will be announced on the evening of Sunday 31st August. This year we are trialling a change to the cast announcement and instead of a face to face casting, we will inform all members the ‘Cast List’ on the evening of Sunday 31st August. More information regarding this change will be explained to members and parents at the information sessions detailed below.
The Production Team will explain our audition requirements and the process with our members and answer any questions they may have during the 2 rehearsals prior to the audition weekend. Our Director Mhairi-Anne and committee members, will host a parents information session, during rehearsal on Sunday 24th August. We will go over our audition requirements and process and answer any parent questions, as we understand not all our members will tell parents all the information we share with them.
PLEASE NOTE: For existing members, all membership fees must be fully paid, prior to the Audition Weekend. New members have until October to finalise payment.
