High School Musical Opening Night

High School Musical On Stage has arrived at Falkirk Town Hall! Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company enthrals the people of Falkirk and beyond with their production.

Fantastic set designs, catchy music, moody lighting and colourful costumes added the perfect backdrop to an outstanding  cast of characters that wowed the audience. But don’t just take our word for it, here are some of the audience opinions……

Big Bad Wolf 10th Anniversary Party

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company would like to invite past members and helpers to our party to help us celebrate 10 years of Big Bad Wolf on Saturday 23rd September 2017 in Bowhouse Community Centre, Grangemouth.

We hope as many past and present members, parents and helpers as possible will be able to come along to celebrate, reminisce, catch up with old friends and who knows perhaps sing along to some songs from our fabulous shows. You are also very welcome to ‘come as you were’ by wearing/bringing along any props, costumes or part costumes from your time in Big Bad Wolf.

There will be no charge for this event, it’s a bring your own bottle and snacks event, anyone under 18 years needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Mary Watkins Memorial Trophy 2017.

Congratulations to Grace Mc Bride who is this year’s winner of The Mary Watkins Memorial Trophy for Commitment and Dedication to Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company.  The award is presented to the member who has shown outstanding commitment to the Company throughout the year. Grace can be seen here being presented with her award by Heather Watkins.

After the Wednesday night performance of My Son Pinocchio, Elizabeth Donald, our NODA Scotland Region 3 Representative, presented the 2017 certificates for long service.

Countdown to ‘My Son Pinocchio’

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company are well underway with rehearsals for the production of “Disney, My Son Pinocchio” from 31st January to 4th February 2017 at Falkirk Town Hall.

My Son Pinocchio Artwork Competition

 

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company are please to announce the winner of this years artwork competition.

As with all previous productions, the members are given the opportunity to submit their designs for artwork to be used on flyers, banners and the programme cover. The Production Team had many high quality entries again this year and selected the design from Sarah Williamson. Sarah can be seen below receiving their prize of a canvas print from Director, Lindsay Dowell along with an image of the winning design

AGM and Coffee Afteroon

Sands Coffee Afternoon

Big Bad Wolf’s Annual General Meeting held its yearly fundraising coffee afternoon on Sunday 25th October in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and Scottish Cot Death Trust. With plenty of goodies available, it was very well attended. Thanks to all who set up, contributed to or attended this worthy event. A grand total of £258.50 was raised for two fantastic causes.
