Peter Pan Flies into The FTH!

Peter Pan has finally arrived at Falkirk Town Hall. Yet again, Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company enthrals the people of Falkirk and beyond with their production of Peter Pan, A Musical Adventure.

Ingenious set designs, catchy music, moody lighting, colourful costumes and spectacular flying effects added the perfect backdrop to an outstanding  cast of characters that made the audience both laugh and cry. But don’t just take our word for it, here are some of the audience opinions……

It’s almost time for Big Bad Wolf to perform Peter Pan and our workshop team are carrying out the finishing touches to the set.

Although the spectacular set will be kept under wraps until opening night we are giving you a sneak peek of what to expect.

Following on from the sell out success of Seussical. Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company return to FTH for their 2015 production of Peter Pan A Musical Adventure.

The legend of Peter Pan has been delighting children (and their parents) for well over 100 years and this musical adventure version is perfect for the whole family. Come and join Peter and the Darling family as they are whisked away to the famous Never Land: full of colourful characters including the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and, of course, the dastardly Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee.

Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure is a musical based on J. M. Barrie’s play Peter Pan, or the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, with a book by Willis Hall and music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

 The Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company will bring to life the magical world of Never Land with its spectacular scenes of flying, swashbuckling and sheer fantasy. Peter Pan is guaranteed to bring out everyone’s inner child, and send you soaring “Just Beyond the Stars.”

Coffee Afternoon in Aid of Sands

Big Bad Wolf’s Annual General Meeting held its yearly fundraising coffee afternoon on Sunday 26th October in aid of SANDS. With plenty of goodies available, it was very well attended- the pirate themed cupcakes in particular sailed out the door quickly! Thanks to all who set up, contributed to or attended this worthy event. A grand total of £338.53 was raised for a fantastic cause.

Sands is the stillbirth and neonatal death charity. They operate throughout the UK, supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby and promoting research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives. For more information click here.

Peter Pan Artwork Competition

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company are please to announce the winner of this years artwork competition.

As with all previous productions, the members are given the opportunity to submit their designs for artwork to be used on flyers, banners and the programme cover. The Production Team had many high quality entries again this year and selected the design from Hannah Gillies. Hannah can be seen below receiving her prize of a canvas print from Assistant Director, Lindsay Dowell along with an image of the winning design.

Fundraising Quiz Night

G and T Quiz Winners

Saturday 27th September saw our fundraising quiz night in Denny.

A great night was had by all and, after a close fought battle, was won by The G and Ts.

We managed raise a total of £434.50 towards our upcoming production of Peter Pan so a big thank you to all that took part.

The company also wishes to express its special thanks to Grant and Lesley McDowall for compiling and running the quiz.
