2017 Noda Awards

After the Wednesday night performance of My Son Pinocchio, Elizabeth Donald, our NODA Scotland Region 3 Representative, presented the 2017 certificates for long service.

My Son Pinocchio Opening Night

Pinocchio has arrived at Falkirk Town Hall! Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company enthrals the people of Falkirk and beyond with their production of Disney’s My Son Pinocchio, Geppetto’s Musical Tale.

Ingenious set designs, catchy music, moody lighting and colourful costumes added the perfect backdrop to an outstanding  cast of characters that wowed the audience. But don’t just take our word for it, here are some of the audience opinions……

Countdown to ‘My Son Pinocchio’

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company are well underway with rehearsals for the production of “Disney, My Son Pinocchio” from 31st January to 4th February 2017 at Falkirk Town Hall.

My Son Pinocchio Artwork Competition

 

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company are please to announce the winner of this years artwork competition.

As with all previous productions, the members are given the opportunity to submit their designs for artwork to be used on flyers, banners and the programme cover. The Production Team had many high quality entries again this year and selected the design from Sarah Williamson. Sarah can be seen below receiving their prize of a canvas print from Director, Lindsay Dowell along with an image of the winning design

AGM and Coffee Afteroon

Sands Coffee Afternoon

Big Bad Wolf’s Annual General Meeting held its yearly fundraising coffee afternoon on Sunday 25th October in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and Scottish Cot Death Trust. With plenty of goodies available, it was very well attended. Thanks to all who set up, contributed to or attended this worthy event. A grand total of £258.50 was raised for two fantastic causes.

Royal Visit

Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company were honored by the presence of HRH Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex at our rehearsal on the 2nd of July.

Prince Edward met and chatted with members of the company and all very much enjoyed the day.

Sneak Peak

With casting now complete for All Shook Up, production is shifting into high gear. The set team have already got under way and the first stage cloth by our set designer, Hilary Wallace, is now complete. Click on the image below for a larger view.
